First of all, I'd like to wish you a blessed Jonah's Feast. Many joyful returns.
Second, I just want to share a little bit of advice with you.
It has helped me through some situations.
It's this: Whenever you encounter troubles, a stalled path, excessive difficulties or an unusually
congested path, ask yourself...
What Is the Lesson Here?
How Can I Turn This Into a Positive?
Where's the
Benefit from This?
Although it's often difficult for us to imagine something good coming out of something we deem "bad," with the right attitude and mindset, that's exactly what can happen.
For example, Apple almost never became the Apple we know today.
Steve Jobs, at some
point early on, was fired from Apple.
Even though he co-founded the company.
However, he later returned.
He ultimately turned the company, which was failing at the time, into a massive success.
He often talks about persistence and resilience.
It's not hyperbole to say he may not have come back with the same drive and determination to prove himself had he not been fired.
Almost every failure, difficulty, negative situation, challenge has an underlying blessing.
You just have to look for it.
