The strangest thing just happened to me.
I received an email from someone (a stranger) who asked me for a referral for a lawyer.
Within 2 hours, I replied and asked him for more information.
He replied with this email:
"Wow!
You replied to my email.
Now I understand why are popular and successful in Coptic Community.
I live in Morristown, NJ and Atlantic City, NJ.
Since you replied to me I will now pay for membership."
I was shocked that he was shocked I replied.
There are 2 reasons
why I'm sharing this with you:
1 -- This is a reminder to make it a habit to reply to your emails (and quickly, if possible). People really appreciate it.
2 -- Some people have low expectations when dealing with you. Or maybe they've been burned in the past and expect you to be no different. It's up to you to prove them wrong, and, in return, give them exceptional and
friendly service.
Sometimes, that's all it takes. In my case, I simply responded to an email in a timely, courteous manner. That's it.
I honestly have no reason why this person reacted with such delight, but, it definitely motivated me to continue going above and beyond, whenever possible.
Hopefully, you do the
same. It will put you light years ahead of your competition.
