Dear , Just a quick reminder... When you run a business, you don't do so in a vacuum. There are many factors that impact your profitability, stability and growth.
One such factor is your competition. Top business leaders are
accustomed to being laser-focused on identifying their competitors, staying ahead of them and neutralizing any threats. I've heard Elon Musk, Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg and others have entire research departments dedicated to staying ahead of anyone who even appears to be a potential competitor.
Who's Out There Competing With You?
A lot of
business owners just go about their day with blinders on... not really interested in what's happening around them. “In order to stand out from your competitors, you need to study their digital marketing strategies and look for opportunities,” said Cristian Ungureanu, Senior Growth Marketer at Zurich, Switzerland-based, QuickMail. Think, what
areas are they focusing on? What are they neglecting? It could be that they are investing heavily in SEO, or paid ads, but are very weak at webinars and podcasts. That's just for starters.
There are a lot of other things to consider, but you must have your radar on, and eyes and ears open as to who is doing what in your orbit. If it's affecting your
business, you need to act accordingly and adjust, when necessary. Until next time... And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic). To read Nader Anise's bio on Wikipedia, go
