About a year ago, I was opening up a can of tuna.
I pulled out the can opener and started twisting. I couldn't open the can all the way, so I decided to grab the lid with two fingers and pull the lid back (big mistake!).
Well, wouldn't you know? My fingers slipped and almost
ripped off the top of my middle and ring fingers. I thought I was going to die! Well, sort of, but it was an ugly scene and quite painful. I had to go to Urgent Care for treatment. It was an ugly sight.
You know why I tell you this story? Because the marketing strategy I'm about to share with you is much simpler (and safer!) than opening up a can of tuna.

Education Marketing
What
do I mean by education marketing? I mean demonstrating your expertise and giving your prospects important, valuable knowledge about what you do and how it can help them.
It's the single greatest way for you to jump up the ladder in your potential customer's mind.
I'm talking about educating (and demonstrating your expertise) using video, newsletters, blogs,
social media posts interviews, seminars, speeches, webinars, writing a book, writing articles and other things. You name it -- there are plenty of ways to do it.
It's incredible how effective it is.

When I started the Coptic Chamber, I basically had 0 followers and 0 members. And with God's grace, we were able to build this Chamber to the
leading business group for Copts, spanning around the world and several continents, with hundreds of fully committed, top-of-their-profession members.
How did this happen when members had never heard of us only a few years back?
Why do you think our amazing Platinum Members were willing to invest $1,250 to join this elite caliber of membership?
How do you think we had attendees flying from all over the country to attend our Coptic-Cons when many assured me the Coptic community would never pay to meet other Copts? (They were wrong.)
The answer to all these questions is... EDUCATION.
EVERY SINGLE DAY I post on social media and send this email. I don't believe I ever skipped a
day (unless traveling or otherwise). I gave insights, quotes, lessons, told stories and shared success stories... which ALL... helped DEMONSTRATE MY EXPERTISE.
I don't say this in any way as a form of bragging; I'm just trying to illustrate the importance and impact of education marketing.
You know in real estate they say it's all about
LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION? In marketing it's EDUCATION EDUCATION EDUCATION, ok?
Please work on a plan for regularly educating your audience in any of the ways I mentioned above. Really commit to it. It will pay off in spades.
