Dear ,
First, thank you to those who responded with some name/connections for big time speakers for Coptic-Con 2024. If you think of any more, please email me.
Second, today's message is an important one.
Being able to read minds could be a VERY powerful attribute, particularly when it comes to succeeding in business and sales.
But we don't read minds (some saint do -- but that's a very high level of holiness).
However, a close second to mind reading is...
PEPSPECTIVE
Those who have perspective and can see the perspective of others have a real chance of being wildly successful.
In a sense, they have the opportunity to be a SUPERSTAR in their business or niche.
Here's an example:
If you tell a story about a 40-year old man to a teenager, he will immediately envision "some old dude" (his words, not mine!).
Tell that
same story about the same 40-year old to someone in their 70's and he will consider him a young man.
Why is that? There's no difference in the story... the man is 40-years old in both anecdotes... the only difference is PERSPECTIVE. This applies to
everything.
Different people see things differently, evaluate things differently, respond to things differently, are excited by things differently, etc.
It's up to you to be able to assess (sometimes even predict) your prospect's perspective and tailor your pitch accordingly It's not very difficult but extremely powerful.
In order to drill through to someone else's perspective, you must be relatable to them... speak to them in their terms... speak their language... understand what they believe, perceive and see.
The problem is, most business owners want to (or are
used to) making a pitch based on their own perspective. Big mistake.
If you can properly gain this insight, and regularly anticipate your prospect's perspective, you are sooooo far ahead of the game.
You're on your way to SUPERSTAR status.
Until next time...
