Dear ,
Two night ago, I was watching a show called "The Food That Built American" on the History Channel.
It featured Blimpie and Subway.
It was a great episode (you should check out that
series if you like that sort of thing)...
... But was struck me was when the fast food sandwich shop war was heating up between Blimpie and Subway, back in the 70's/80's, Blimpie introduced their signature sandwich, the "Blimple Big."
Their revenues shot up.
To counter Blimple, Subway shot back with their own
signature sandwich.
That was really the genesis of the "signature sandwich."
Then there was McDonalds with the Big Mac (with their famous jingle)...
And, of course, Burger King with the Whopper... and so on...
The signature sandwich is what lured people in and gave the sandwich shops a hook.
And so my question to you (and I also ask myself):
What's Your "Signature Sandwich"?
In other words, what offering
have you made in your business that is an encapsulation of what you're all about?
If you're like most business owners, you don't have one.
That's
nothing to be ashamed of. But, it's time to come up with something.
A signature offering in your dental practice or real estate business or financial services company, etc., can really distinguish you from your competitors.
Whether it's the "New Client Welcome Special"... or the top of the line "Platinum Package" (that includes your best offerings at a premium)... or the "Free Uber Service from Your Home to Our Office," there are a million ways to do it.
I'll leave it up to your imagination and your niche.
But it's an important thing to do.
Until next time...
