Dear , As you can see from the photo above, I'm proudly displaying the Coptic Chamber logo high atop a VERY tall building. This building, known as Burj Khalifa, is the tallest free standing building in the world and is located in Dubai. I thought it appropriate to the hoist our Chamber's iconic brand in an iconic building. My wife, Evy and I, recently celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary and what better way to mark such a monumental event than to visit Dubai, Melbourne and Sydney,
Australia? Dubai was honestly quite a surprise. Neither of us expected to enjoy it as much as we did. The beautiful sights and landscapes... the cleanliness... the high
towers and buildings... it was all quite remarkable. And in Australia, we spent some special quality time with dear friends of ours. They showed us all around Melbourne and Sydney -- we saw the Penguin Parade, Bondi
Beach, the Sydney Opera House, Edward Island, the Melbourne Laneways and lots of other things. Evy also climbed the Harbour Bridge in Sydney with her Aussie bestie... and we even got to watch the Australian Bee Gees live in concert! (If you close your eyes, you'd think the real Bee Gees were right in there in front of you). All in all, we had an amazing two weeks exploring places we had never been to and made some priceless memories. Anyway, I promised I'd share some of the details of the trip with you and so there you have it. PS While in Melbourne, I fell in love with the absolute sweetest dog, a Cavoodle, named Siena. Evy and I are actually thinking of getting a Cavoodle now. With the
boys in college, we're emply-nesters. A new dog will listen, make us smile, actually be happy to see us... and... won't eat all our food. The kids should have left for college a long time ago!
