Dear ,
I just finished watching a rerun on the show Shark Tank.
I'm pretty sure I've seen them all.
What struck me is something Robert Herjavec said to an entrepreneur:
Focus on your core business.
Don't chase the butterflies or the shiny new objects.
Thank you, Robert!
I've lost count of how many times I've said that during a consultation.
Business owners sometimes wonder why their business has no traction... or why sales or falling... or why they can't seem to penetrate a market.
Very often it's because they've veered too left or too right...
They've dipped their toe into too many pools...
They've lost focus running after the shiny objects.
If you find yourself in the same boat, you might want to have a heart-to-heart and see if you've lost focus of your core business.
It's much more common than you think.
And if you have, just get right back on track.
Focus.
Focus.
Focus.
Until next time...
And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic).
