I'm showing you the photo of one of our Gold members, Raafat Bekheit APRN, because he just did something very successfully.
Raafat is the Founder of Bekheit Care, a practice that provides primary and cosmetic services, such as Botox, Newtox, Juvederm, Restylane, in Hollywood, Florida.
Raafat's social media team regularly posts before and after photos of patients who receive various cosmetics treatments. The results are quite impressive.
However, I noticed something they did yesterday. They posted a photo of Raafat smiling with the tag line:
"Patients love him, wrinkles hate him. Come in and find out why."
Not only is that a great slogan, but the photo, I noticed, vastly improved the number of likes and engagement he had received previously.
As far as I know, this was the first large photo of him with a nice, clear smile that they've posted.
Although I'm sure people liked the slogan, I'm also sure seeing his smiling face is what got him the extra engagement.
"And, thus, once again, the lesson is...
In your social media posts... SHOW YOUR FACE... SHOW YOUR SMILE... SHOW YOURSELF DOING SOMETHING INTERESTING, FUN AND ENGAGING.
Yes, it's ok to post article links and somewhat more generic content. But that should be a small percentage of your posts.
People want to see and interact with you and want to see you. Your face. Your smile.
It makes a very big difference in engagement.
