Dear ,
There are actually quite a few ways to make your business famous.
The one I want to touch on today will surprise you.
How do you make your business famous? MAKE THE FOUNDER FAMOUS.
That's right... focus on the founder -- YOU!
You see, unless you have many millions (or billions) of dollars to advertise and promote your business, no business by itself becomes famous.
You've heard this before -- people do business with people, not with businesses.
Who helped make Facebook famous? Mark Zuckerberg (whether you agree with his views/politics is another story -- I'm talking strictly business growth).
Who helped make Tesla famous? Elon Musk.
Who helped make Apple famous? Steve Jobs.
Who helped make Virgin Atlantic famous? Richard Branson.
I think you get the idea...
The problem is, so many entrepreneurs want to remain behind the scenes while trying to promote their business... believing that the business can somehow magically grow independently without a personality driving it. This is a mistake.
Yes, there are some exceptions where a business can skyrocket without piggybacking on the fame of the founder, but these businesses are literally one in a million. Those aren't good odds.
So, in summary, if you want to build a well known business, you need to build a personal brand.
Yes, YOU NEED TO SHINE IN THE FOREFRONT OF THE BUSINESS.
I'll give you more information on how to do that when I make the social media video I talked about last week.
If you have any questions, let me know.
Until next time...
And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic).
