One of the most straight-forward and successful formulas for making more sales is this:
Find out what your customer wants and give it to them.
It really couldn't be any easier than that, right?
Right.
The problem is, almost every business person I know tends to guess as to what they think their customer wants.
They might base their guess on what's "hot" in the market... or...
They just look at where most of their sales are coming from and assume uniformity... or...
They act based on last year's sales... or... whatever.
My point is no one does the most obvious, most direct thing to find out what the customer wants:
You will learn so much.
Yes, it's that simple. Just ask your customer what they want. What their preferences are. What makes them choose one option over another, etc.
This can be done in many ways, probably the most effective is a questionnaire.
There's a great book I'll recommend to you called "Ask" by Ryan Levesque.
It explores this topic in depth and gives you some great solutions.
You can find it on Amazon here: https://www.amazon.com/Ask-Counterintuitive-Discover-Customers-Business/dp/1939447720/ref=sr_1_1?crid=159QBOC7BKXTP&dchild=1&keywords=ask+ryan+leveque&qid=1598390175&sprefix=ask+ryan+%2Caps%2C190&sr=8-1
Even if you don't get the book and even if you don't use a questionnaire, at the very least, you can casually ask your customers what their preferences are when you see them or when you have them on the phone.
You can even ask them by email like I often do with you.
Don't underestimate the power of this simple tactic.
