It's a small little tweak but can yield big results...
Dear ,
Pretty much everyone in business uses emails, right?
In your normal business day, you might send 10 or 20 emails (maybe more) to customers/clients/patients, suppliers, new leads, etc.
Therefore, you should recognize the marketing opportunity available to you because their is one.
At the very least, your signature area should be more than simply saying, "Sincerely, XXXX XXXX."
There's a lot more you can do.
Why not add your logo?
Why not add your photo?
Why not add your social media handles?
Why not encourage the recipient to sign up for your newsletter (hopefully you have one)?
Why not share the link for your Wikipedia page or LinkedIn bio?
Why not share a link for some media coverage or write up that you've received?
Why not tell them if they'd like to make an appointment with you to call a certain number?
The options are endless.
So why do many (or most) people add nothing to the signature area?
They either don't think about it or are just used to doing it the same old way.
But you know better, right? :)
Remember, use this real estate wisely. You have a captive audience. You might as well make the best of it.
Until next time...
