I'd like to share two tips with you. One can solve a problem and the other can spruce up your social media posts/responses.
First, the problem solver -- ever try to email someone only to find out that the email address you have is a dud? (You get that nasty "Mailer-Demon" reply. I hate that).
Well, here's a website that lets you test the email address to see if it's valid. And it's FREE.
You simply enter the email address into the box and it tells you if it's good or bad. This site usually works pretty well. Test it out for yourself. it's: https://email-checker.net/
By the way, they limit you to 5 emails addresses per hour (unless you upgrade and pay). There are other free websites that do the same thing, I just like that this site because it looks so clean and is easy to use.
The second tip is for your social media activity (please tell me you've begun using social media for business!).
Are you using GIFs yet? GIFs are simply animated images that typically loop. They're great in social media posts, especially if you're responding to someone in a thread and really want to get their attention.
For example, someone recently asked me a question like, "That's so cool, how did you do that?"
Rather than reply with the usual boring, "I just followed the directions" or "It's really no big deal" or whatever, I simply responded with the GIF above that said, "Magic." It was funny, it broke up the monotony of all the posts and it made the person laugh (which makes you memorable).
The internet is full of sites that offer GIFs. The best one I've found is: https://giphy.com/. It's great.
Like I said, you can post using a GIF, but I like to use GIFs in my replies in a thread. It makes people smile and makes you memorable.
P.S. There are GIFs for all kinds of topics and for all occasions.
