My mother always told me I was perfect... but...
Dear ,
Despite my dear mother's assurances that I could do no wrong, clearly I can. :)
Yesterday, one of our members alerted me to the fact that I gave out the wrong link for those we would like more information on joining the Coptic Chamber. Thank you (you know who you are. :)).
Here's the correct link: www.copticchamber.com/membership/
Now would be a great time to join, especially with the Zoom session coming up -- I can introduce you as a brand new member!
I was consulting with one of our Platinum members yesterday and the topic of social media came up. When we talked about setting time aside for regular content creation, I heard "There's just not enough time in the day."
I actually couldn't agree more.
The truth is, this is something I struggle with myself all the time. I do have an assistant who helps whenever I need her, but almost all of the content is created by me.
It's such a grind! That is...
Until I Started Creating
My Content the Night Before
You see, I used to create my social media content the day of posting. I also would write the newsletter on the same day. But what I found was that it would eat up a huge chunk of my day. It was a time killer.
NOW... I do the content the night before. After I wind down from the day, I think about the content and put everything together. Sometimes at 9 or 10 p.m. Sometimes midnight, Sometimes 3 or 4 a.m. (yes, you read right.)
It has made all the difference for me in terms of my time management because I feel like I have the whole day to be productive on other work items.
ANOTHER TIP: You can use social media scheduling tools like www.hootsuite.com or www.sproutsocial.com to schedule your social media posts ahead of time. It will save you even more time.
But, regardless of how you do social media... if you haven't started doing it... now is the time. JUST DO IT.
Until next time...
And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic).
