Aboud was the first person to alert me to him.
Dear ,
I'm embarrassed to say it but I had never heard of Khaled Bichara before.
However, last Friday I noticed that my good friend and Gold member, Aboud Hanna, had posted on Facebook about Khaled's sudden loss.
Khaled died in a car accident on Friday, January 31st, 2020. The fact that it was an unexpected death and that he was only 48 years old left many people shocked and heartbroken.
Once I read a bit about him, I wanted to know more. I realized he was a leading Coptic Egyptian figure in the world of business and entrepreneurship, Some people called him "Egypt's Bill Gates." This piqued my curiosity even more. What he was about? What nuggets of wisdom were out there that I can benefit from?
Rather than try to recount the highlights of Khaled's career here, I'll instead share this excerpt from a tribute article about Mr. Bichara:
Khaled Bichara says that stability is not something that companies should be looking to achieve, rather, it poses a big risk for them because change does not exist: the world is always moving.
Just from these two resources there are many takeaways on running and growing your business.
Let's pray for the repose of Khaled's soul, may he rest in peace, and may the Lord comfort the hearts of those who are grieving.
Thank you again, Aboud.
And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic).
