Sure you do. Who doesn't?
Want to do very little to get there?
Once again, the answer is yes of course!
Well, good, because I'll show you a little trick you can use when someone raves about you online or even sends you a testimonial by email or letter.
Its really very simple:
Just Do These 2 Things...
1. Call them up and thank them for their kind words (yes, call them PERSONALLY and say thank you. If you don't have their number, try sending an email asking them for it). Tell them how grateful you are and how important it is to you and your business to have great clients/customers/patients like them. Tell them their words will encourage others to do business with you.
2. Then tell them: "While I have you on the phone... were there any family or friends you can think of who I can also help? I'm sure, just like you were satisfied with my service, you'd want the people you care about to receive the same treatment. And a referral from you would mean a lot."
THEN REMAIN SILENT AND SIMPLY WAIT FOR THE ANSWER.
The awkward silence usually prompts them to think of one or two people who may need your services.
Why Go Through the Trouble
of a Personal Phone Call?
First of all, getting a call from you will shock your customer and make an INCREDIBLE impression. A permanent one. This, in and of itself, will increase the referrals they may send you.
Secondly, obviously, the call creates an opportunity for you to talk. Not only might they send you referrals, sometimes it results in business from the SAME customer. Believe me on this.
If there's such thing as "magic" in marketing, it's following this little piece of advice.
