Boy, was this a surprise...
As you've probably heard, Coptic-Con rocked. Big time.
The speakers, the content, the venue, the networking were all beyond everyone's expectations.
But what I didn't expect was one of the attendees insisting on giving me money after the event.
Boy was I shocked.
But, actually, when I think about it, it was a stroke on genius.
You see, because this person was the first to put down a substantial amount of money toward a sponsorship for COPTIC-CON 2020,
He Just Guaranteed Himself a
Cushy Spot Among Our Sponsors!
We were casually talking about sponsorships at the Westin on Friday, but I didn't realize he was dead serious.
And, then, a couple of days later, I found myself congratulating him on becoming our first sponsor.
Even though I don't have a sponsorship program set up yet...
I don't know the pricing...
I don't know how many spots I'll accept...
I basically know NOTHING YET about how I'll be handling this whole sponsorship thing...
I'm not even sure we'll be holding it at the Weston Fort Lauderdale Beach again!
But I do know he was smart enough to work his way into sponsorship now and worry and the details later.
So, yes, I gladly accepted his down payment and put him down as Sponsor #1.
That's a pro move if ever I saw one.
So, As Shocking As this May Sound

I guess I'm now officially accepting sponsorship applications for Coptic-Con 2020.
You can send me your request by reply email or carrier pigeon or even mail it on a bubble gum wrapper because I can't believe there is this much demand for Coptic-Con sponsorship already -- and it hasn't even been a week since it wrapped up.
