Dear ,
Don't you sometimes wish you could read your customer/client/patient's mind?
That would help you a lot in knowing what's important to them and how to appeal to them in a marketing sense.
If you're able to do that, that would make you something of a marketing wizard, right?
What if I told you that there IS a way to do that?
And it's pretty simple:
What you need to do is find out how your customers spend their disposable income.
What are their habits? Which stores? What items? What regular purchases?
Now, I'm not saying necessarily that you must ask them (although surveys are a good way to find this info if you want to ask them), but having that kind of knowledge is marketing gold. It might come up in conversation or from simple observation on your part.
The fact is, you can never truly understand a person, and ultimately predict their spending habits, until you know what their disposable income is spent on.
That, right there, tells you what's important to them.
And sometimes, you'll notice a certain spending pattern by your entire customer base that will give you incredible insight.
At the very least, if you're not going to ask your customers directly, keep your eyes open in case this type of info reveals itself to you.
What do you do with the information? You use it in your marketing message, in your ads, in your conversations and other marketing activities. It will give you a SUBSTANTIAL advantage over your competition.
