Dear ,
Don't be surprised by this:
One of the main reasons why someone doesn't buy from you/hire you is NOT that your price is too high...
Or that you don't offer the exact service they're looking for...
Or that they "need to think about it"...
Or that you're a small mom-and-pop shop...
Or any of the million reasons you hear.
The reality is, 80 or 90% of the time, the reason why your customer doesn't buy is because...
They Don't Fully Trust You or
Trust That You WIll Do What You Say
That's not meant to offend or disparage you. It's just how human psychology works.
People, by their nature, are quite skeptical, especially in a selling situation. It's your job to ease the customer of all their worries and overcome their objections... even if they don't ask them audibly -- you must anticipate their sticking points, raise them and satisfy them.
If someone walks away without buying (or hiring you), it usually means that you didn't do a thorough enough job selling them on why they should trust you. Trust me on this. :)
Most people are too polite to come straight out and say it to your face -- "I don't trust what you're saying to me." Instead, they concoct all types of reasons and excuses why they won't buy from you.
The good news is, I'll share some ways with you on how to overcome the trust deficit and get more people to buy from you.
Tune in tomorrow and I'll give you all the details...
