I just want to update on something in my personal life.
This past Sunday, June 2, my dear mother-in-law passed away to begin her heavenly life. She was patiently dealing with numerous diseases and, when the Lord willed, he called her to Him. She was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed.
I'm telling you this because A) I consider you part of my family; B) I had tentatively scheduled for us to have a South Florida mixer this week.
Clearly, I won't be able to hold any events this week as the wake and funeral are at the end of the week.
However, God willing, I'm still determined to have our mixer before the Apostles Fast so we can spend time with one another. I can't wait to see you all.
I hope to schedule more mixers in more cities around the country in the upcoming two months.
The dates I'm considering for a South Florida mixer are Wednesday, June 12 or Thursday, June 13.
What I need to know from you is:
1. What is your preferred date?
2. Do you have any good ideas for a city/venue in which we can all meet, network and mix it up for about two hours?
To my South Florida Chamber champions, I would like to hear from you!
