I just want to update you on a few things:
1. We've continued to get feedback and requests for a more user-friendly member directory on the Coptic Chamber website. Even though we worked on it in the past, we are once again looking into getting a new plugin that will be robust and easier to navigate. It should be better for you, as members, as well as the visitors to the site. Stay tuned.
2. Early next week, God willing, I'll be giving you info (location, exact date and time) on our South Florida mixer. Hope all the South Florida peeps represent and bring friends so we can all meet, network and enjoy one another's company.
3. We will be sending out a batch of welcome packages (membership card, T-shirt, decal, pen, etc.) to our newer members sometime towards the end of next week. Thank you so much for your patience.
4. Finally, and as you know, I don't normally mix Coptic Church news with any Coptic Chamber business; however, I felt like it's extremely important for you to know about Global Coptic Day. This is a REAL, ACTUAL celebration day for Copts all around the world that coincides with the Feast of the Entry of our Lord to Egypt with the Holy Family. It's on June 1.
