Dear ,
Yesterday I told you how to overcome the believability problem most people have on social media (it's by demonstrating social proof).
Today I will address the question: If I'm supposed to be working on my business all the time, where will I find the time to post on social media every day?
I'll get to the answer in a second.
But, before I do, here's a little nugget to get you more engagement when posting on Facebook, Instagram, etc.:
Show Faces Whenever Possible
That means that in your posts, if you show objects, you'll get mild engagement. If you show people and faces (like yours and others), you'll get higher engagement. If you show people AND objects AND they are involved in a fun, exciting or unusual activity, you'll get the most engagement.
So, whenever possible, show faces/people in action, ok? That will give you the best results.
On to the question:
"Where Do I Find the Time for Daily Social Media Posts?"
There are two answers to this:
1. The problem lies with the question. Let's say you're an insurance agent. Instead of viewing yourself as an insurance agent who occasionally markets their business, you should see yourself as a marketer first who happens to have an insurance business. Once you shift your perspective, your priorities will instantly fall into place... and... you'll realize that you are first and foremost a MARKETER who is engaged in a
particular business.
Unfortunately, most people get so involved and so immersed in their business that they don't see themselves as anything other than doers of that business. Try to make this shift -- where you see yourself as a business builder first and foremost (rather than a doer of the business first). It will create a paradigm shift in your business model.
And then you'll easily find the time for social media posts, networking events, advertising, etc. because you'll see yourself as primarily engaged in the business of building your company.
NOTE: You can apply this concept to any business.
2. If you're still not able to find the time for social media posts, then consider hiring a social media management company to do it for you. Granted, the results won't be as good as if you were doing it yourself; however, it will keep you in the game. It's better than nothing! And, nowadays, you can hire these types of companies fairly cheaply. You can even find companies (or even part-timers or college students) who specialize in your type of
business.
But, in today's day and age, if you're NOT on social media, you are passing up thousands or tens of thousands of dollars (or more).
Social media is no longer an option, it's a must.
