Dear ,
Following up on yesterday's newsletter: Why people aren't buying and how to solve the believability newsletter.
Human nature is human nature. People are skeptical.
You might be a genius... you may have solved every problem in your industry... and yet some people will still ask you...
But Can You Solve MY Problem?
In order words...
You've sold houses... but can you sell MY house?
Your financial advice has made people millions... but will it work for ME?
You've done great cosmetic dentistry... but can you get the same results for ME?
(Insert your profession here)... all business people experience the same skepticism: they think that their case, their situation, is unique.
And in about 95% of the situations... IT'S NOT!
The fact is, if you achieve positive results for one person, you can probably do the same for another.
So, how do you overcome your audience's skepticism (on social media or otherwise)? You must...
Provide An Abundance of Social Proof!
Yes, provide as much social proof as humanely possible, as often as humanely possible.
What do I mean by "social proof"?
Essentially, proof that you've done it for others (by "it" I mean achieve positive results in your business) -- and that whatever you're doing works!
Examples of Social Proof
1. Testimonials from happy customers or clients
2. Videos of people saying how wonderful of an experience it was working with you
3. Photos of you providing a happy result for your customers or clients
4. Video of photographic evidence of your results
This can all be done on social media. In fact, I recommend it because people can see it and share it and comment about it. It opens up new opportunities.
But if all you do on social media is post and repost various articles, how will your audience know you got what it takes to get results?
They need to see YOUR results -- and that others are happy with them.
Make sense, right?
Tune in tomorrow when I'll answer the question: "I'm constantly working on my business... where will I find the time to post new content on social media every day?"
I'll give you the answer tomorrow.
Don't miss it!
In the meantime, K.I.C. ("Keep It Coptic")!
