I'd like you to pick one thing that's marketing-related, that can help your business.
Think... think... think... got it? Good.
Now I'd like you to take that one thing and commit to doing it every single day. EVERY DAY (ok, you can skip weekends). It doesn't have to take you hours. Just a few minutes a day is fine.
By repetition and commitment, you'll find yourself building a habit of excellence and seeing some positive results.
Can you make that commitment?
For example, my daily EVERYDAY commitment is posting on social media and sending this newsletter. Believe me, there are days when I'd rather chew on shards of glass than have to post. But I do it everyday because I've seen the fruits of my labor, i.e., an engaged and appreciative audience, and I actually enjoy interacting with my peeps.
For you, it might also be social media. Or it could be to call one former client/customer everyday and touch base, see how things are. Or it might be to send one hand-written note to a referral source everyday. Or read a chapter, or even a page, of a marketing book. Whatever.
It can be anything.
I hope you, too, will find success (and even a sense of satisfaction) when you commit to that one thing.
P.S. Aristotle was right about excellence being a habit. I mean the man has statues made of him -- he's gotta know a thing or two!
