Dear ,
Yes, the subject line was provocative. That's why you clicked open.
But there really is another N-word out there. It can drive people into a frenzy. It gets them all excited.
You know what it is?
New.
That's right, "New."
You see, whenever you use the word new in your advertising or social media posts, announcing something new, you command attention. You just do. Don't ask me why... it just happens.
I mean I'm pretty sure I know why it happens -- people are curious about what's new. Will it benefit them? How can they use it? When will it be available?
Yes, whenever you announce something new, you're bound to attract some eyeballs.
That's great, isn't it? But the question is...
What if you don't have anything new to announce? Well, that's easy one.
Create something new that will benefit your customers. Some promotion, some program, some customer advantage -- anything. There are a million things you can come up with.
OR...
You can always take something that's already working in your business and put a little twist on it. Change it up a little bit, somehow, someway. And voila! It becomes "new."
See, wasn't that a piece of cake?
If you're not convinced announcing something new in your business (especially in a first sentence or headline) works, test it out. You'll be happy you did.
Until next time...
