Dear ,
Some people say there's no easy road to success.
That's usually true.
But there is a way to make it easier. Would you like to hear about it?
Of course you would!
I have been tracking two specific businesses on social media. They are both Copt-owned and in the same industry. One is extremely successful and the other is moderately successful (I know because I'm privy to some private information about them).
As far as I can see, there's one main difference between the two, marketing-wise.
Would you like to know...
What Is the One Secret That Makes
One Business More Successful Than the Other?
They both post on social media...
They both have followers in the thousands...
But the secret is, one TELLS STORIES about his satisfied customers. He talks about the challenges his customers had before coming to him... and how happy they are now that they purchased from him.
He shows pictures of his excited and happy customers. Sometimes the pictures themselves tell the stories (of course, the customer MUST approve him using using their names and photos on social media).
The other business? Every now and then he'll show boring photos of his merchandise. Lifeless and insignificant. Nothing that's really meaningful.
But stories bring life to anything you're selling. Plus, they keep your audience engaged.
It's really not that difficult, is it?
If you're going to get into business... and market yourself... and use social media... you might as well do it the right way, wouldn't you agree?
So start today using stories in your marketing and show photos (and videos), too. Believe me, people want to know the backstories. It makes your posts much more interesting.
P.S. The photo you see above is of my time with the great iconographer, Osama Moris in Egypt. I consider it a great honor and blessing to have commissioned the icon of the Holy Family's Flight Into Egypt from him. His Grace Bishop Youssef and I presented the icon to His Holiness Pope Tawadros as a symbol of Global Coptic Day.
Now imagine if I hadn't shown you the photo above and left out the story. This email would have been much less interesting, right?
Until next time...
