I have a quick tip today:
One of the best ways to gain clients or customers is to get exposure as a public speaker. When you speak publicly, it solidifies your image as an
expert. So, the more public speaking you do... the more of an expert you appear... the more business opportunities may come out of it.
What if you've never done any public speaking or are terrified of it? That's completely understandable.
First, I suggest you start small, even with some family and friends... then work your way up.
Second, you might consider joining Toastmasters International. This is a group that has chapters all over the world. They will give you a lot of training and practice in all types of public speaking. Their website is www.toastmasters.org.
Third, watch videos of
great public speakers and try to learn as much as possible. Watch their techniques -- how they start and end a speech, their voice inflection, what visuals they use, etc.
I hope you seriously consider adding public speaking to your marketing mix because it's quite powerful in so many ways.
