Dear ,
How good are you?
Have you mastered your craft as well as anyone... or... do you rely on having some basic infomation that will barely get you by?
The tip today is an important one. There is no -- I repeat NO -- substitute for being good at what you do.
You might be a marketing wiz, a
networking fiend or even a genius at public relations, but...
Nothing Can Take the Place of Being Undeniably Good!
That means you must know your subject-matter inside and
out, backwards and forwards. You must eat and breathe your business skill set... because ultimately... if you're winging it, people will see right through it.
No one is impressed by mediocrity.
Most developmental authorities say that it takes people around 5,000 hours to learn, study and practice their skill to be considered expert in their field?
It's true.
5,000 hours! That's a little
under 8 months if you worked on your skill set 24-hours a day, 7 days a week for that entire time.
So, what's my point?
It takes more than fancy websites and cool Instagram posts to get to the top. You must learn your craft, and learn
it well. And not just learn it, but be skilled at it.
Are you willing to do that?
There are no shortcuts...
It ain't easy...
And it takes determination and grit.
But it IS within your reach.
Until next time...
Your
friend,
Nader Founder of the Coptic Chamber
