Do you offer free content on social media?
Do you educate your customers through videos, articles, posts, emails, etc.?
Do you give them really valuable information that they can use and benefit from?
If so, at some point, you might have felt the urge to pull back just a little bit... so you don't offer too much and "give it all away."
If you've ever thought that way, my advice to you is...
Don't Be Afraid.
My advice is give them as MUCH amazing content as possible for free... first. Before you try to sell them anything.
You know why? Because, eventually, when you have something to sell them, they will have ingested so much of what you have to offer that YOU will be the ultimate (and hopefully only) authority who is stuck in their head.
Have you ever heard of a marketing genius named Jay Abraham?
In marketing circles, he is considered one of the GOATS of marketing -- he conducts seminars with Tony Robbins and Grant Cordone and Damon John of Shark Tank fame.
He is a bona fide legit marketing and business development guru.
Do you know what he does?
Jay gives away over $100,000 of his content for free on his website: videos, interviews, books, transcripts, consultations, seminars, podcasts, etc.
... And despite that, he still fills his seminars with people paying $25,000 a pop (that's not a typo) and has blue chip companies paying him $100,000 (not a typo either) for a day of consultation.
I hope I've eased your mind regarding giving away content and information and resources. As long as you can come up with new stuff to sell them, you'll never give too much away.
P.S. This is a photo of Jay and me in his office in California.
Have a great weekend!
Until next time...
