Dear ,
Is there such thing as "easy" money?
Yes, sometimes.
On occasion, the money can be as simple as a click of a button... and sometimes it comes with great toil and great difficulty.
An example of easy money: LEVERAGE. Use leverage to reach your customer quickly and easily (without much expense) and then make them an offer. A percentage of them will buy.
For example, let's say you are a jeweler and have a list of 200 past or current customers. You decide to make them a Thanksgiving special offer by email that gives them a 30% instant discount on anything they buy on Black Friday. You can pretty much rely on the fact that a certain percentage WILL buy from you (there are various ways to figure out beforehand, ballpark, how many will buy). No fuss, no muss, you use leverage to create some fairly easy sales because they will be
receptive to your offer.
Compare that with a business that doesn't have leverage -- they constantly have to pay for new advertising, they don't make offers, they don't have a solid base of existing clients/customers to make offers to, they don't have a current email list, they don't get many referrals, etc. This is MARKETING THE HARD WAY.
While marketing the hard way can still work, it's a much more difficult way to make money.
This begs two questions:
1. Do you have an updated list of customers/clients?
2. Are you making enough special offers to them?
Think about these two questions long and hard. The answer to both should be yes. If it's not, you're taking the difficult route to making money.
Why make it harder on yourself than it should be?
Until next time...
And, remember, K.I.C. (Keep It Coptic).
